why im not a fan of interleague play...

top 5 reasons im not a fan of interleague play...

- takes away from the world series
I dont want to see the dodgers vs yankees play this season than in the world series... it take intreage out of the game (this is an example, im not predicting a new york vs LA world series)

- It creates wanna be rivalries
Does anyone care about the indians vs the reds or baltimore vs washington or better yet seattle vs san diego? I mean come on really?

- Its not fair.
The Dodgers have to face detriot 3 times, anaheim 6 times, boston 3 times, and new york 3 times. While the padres have to face seattle 6 times, baltimore 3 times, toronto 3 times and tampa bay 3 times.
So the dodgers play teams that are bound for the playoffs and are really good while the padres play one team in tampa bay with a winning record.

- It takes away from the purity of the game. NL teams are built for bunting and small ball while AL teams are built for power. Its dumb to watch an NL team to have there best pinch hitter as a DH.

- Its a bud selig idea, the only thing that selig has done that I actually like is the wild card idea. other than that he has been one of the worst commissioners in baseball history. He should let Pete Rose in the hall of fame, overturn the call and give Gallaraga a perfect game, and let instant replay be used.
